This site is a vehicle for Allen Holub's music. Allen's work, for the moment, is entirely solo piano
music, most of which would be categorized as "minimal." (Think
Terry Riley,
Steve Reich,
Philip Glass,
etc.).
The music is largely improvisational, set on a framework. That is, the general structure (both rhythmic
and thematic) is constant, but the details change from performance to performance. No two performances are
alike.
